Beta: Connected Classrooms Sign-Up

We're inviting middle school educators to help us improve Thinkalong by beta testing the new virtual debate feature, Connected Classrooms.

In a safe, online forum, students across the country will be able to build civil debate and media literacy skills using trusted sources from PBS, NPR, and other public media.

What happens when I sign up?

When you sign up, you give us some information that help us find a similar classroom. We make a match and contact both educators to coordinate the debate.

How do I prepare for a debate?

To be ready for an online debate, your class has to complete the Thinkalong module. You also need access to a device with a camera, microphone, speakers, and an internet connection.

That's it—there are no additional downloads or sign-ups and we facilitate the debates.

How much does this cost?

It's free! Thinkalong is a service of Connecticut Public, the state's public media station. If you'd like to support our efforts, please donate here.

I need more information.
