Do the health risks of vape products and e-cigarettes outweigh the benefits?

E-cigarettes have become increasingly popular in recent years. Originally meant as an alternative for tobacco smokers, vape product use has risen amongst young people, including teenagers. Marketing on social media and flavored products make the products attractive and high nicotine levels make them addictive. Some say that e-cigarettes can help cigarette smokers get off of tobacco, but recent health scares amongst vape users has caused the Food and Drug Administration to look into e-cigarette safety. With bans on flavors and single-use vape pens on the rise, do the health risks of e-cigarette products outweigh any benefits?
